Plumbing contractors face unique risks—on the jobsite, on the road, and in today’s increasingly complex legal and insurance environment. This educational session is designed specifically for plumbers and plumbing business owners who want a better understanding of how to protect their companies while continuing to grow profitably.

Topics will include plumber-specific third-party liability coverage, how claims are triggered, and how insurance carriers determine payouts once negligence is accepted. We’ll also take a hard look at high-rise plumbing work, weighing the real risks against potential rewards and helping contractors evaluate whether these projects make sense for their business.

The session will also cover Florida Statute 558 and construction defect claims, explaining how this law impacts plumbing contractors and what you should do if your company becomes involved in a defect claim. Finally, we’ll discuss fleet safety, focusing on reducing accidents, limiting liability, and protecting one of your most valuable assets—your service vehicles and drivers.

This presentation is ideal for plumbing contractors, owners, managers, and anyone responsible for risk management, operations, or company vehicles.

    Members - $35 / Non-Members - $45

(Non-Members must be paid in advance in order to attend)
